Dear Parents and Families:

My name is Odiri Akiri. I am the owner of Oxford Academy Preschool.  

I have a Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University; a Director’s Training from Bright from the Start – Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning to own and operate a childcare facility. I am also a certified Nurse Practitioner with about a decade of clinical experience. 

I and my Director, Ms. Yariela have a shared interest in providing a safe, healthy, and educational environment where children from all backgrounds can flourish. We both understand how important and comforting it is for parents to know that their child is in a safe enriching learning environment. Together we’ve joined forces to create a secure, nurturing, affordable childcare service for parents and families in the Powder Springs area.

We truly believe that family is a fundamental core and essential part of a child’s life. Oxford Daycare Preschool strives to be a significant, positive extension of your family. We provide a well-balanced day that nurtures your child’s confidence, encourages their ability to learn, and teaches each child to be prepared for the life ahead of them.

Oxford Daycare Preschool is registered with the state of Georgia and licensed by Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning and Cobb County.

Each of our staff has been carefully selected and obtains the appropriate credentials, background screening, and fingerprinting required by local and state. Oxford Daycare Preschool is aligned with the Bright from the Start Georgia’s Department of Early Care and Learning regulations to protect and preserve the health, safety, and overall well-being of your child.
